In order to fit the theme of AALHE’s conference in 2023 (“Assessment Narratives, Mysteries, & Myths“), I opted for a nautical theme with a pirate treasure map. This gave me the freedom to ‘map out’ struggles commonly facing assessment professionals that are amusingly relatable.
Part of the presentation was to include a very basic overview of the Collaborative Program structure at Indiana University. The programs are multi-campus and made up of faculty committees with representatives from each participating campus. Because of this unique structure, I carefully curated the text and graphics so as to not overwhelm the reader.
